A very fine traditional English house required a special approach to the design of this spectacular orangery style family room. The glass building required the support of a twenty tonne superstructure with a single spanning central roof beam. The timber extension is clad externally with classic Portland Stone, fenestrated with six sets of wooden doors to create a fine orangery. Courtesy of Thorpe Design.
