Traditional timber box sash windows are for refurbishment only as our wooden box sash is only available single glazed and with pulleys cords and weights. We generally use timber-parting beads but can implement a gasket-parting bead. This detail must be agreed if the windows are to a listed building.
The window is traditional mortice and tenon wedged and should be considered for any refurbishment to Grade II listed buildings.

Weights and cords hung on axle pullies. Lockable “knob” type fasteners and sash lift pulls as standard. Ventlocks used where required.
