Lanterns

Built onto a flat roof, Westbury’s lanterns will provide light and ventilation, and make an attractive period feture over a studio or office, kitchen or stairwell, garden room or shop.

We offer lanterns as small as 800mm x 800mm and have buildt up tpo 18m x 7m clear spanning. Vemtilation is provided from top hung fanlights, operated electronically or with scissor hooks. The construction is of painted hardwood externally while the rafters (internally) are laminated clear redwood. The roof has a powder-coated aluminium capping to secure the glass and make it watertight.

Glazing comes in the form of toughened clear sealed units as standard. A variety of embellishments internally are available, from panelling, decorative cornices and turned pendants.
