Sliding, Stacking and Bi-folding doors

All doors are fully weather-sealed using either a foam, brush or rubber weather strip depending on door type. Doors and frames have two coats of paint prior to delivery. One further site coat is required once installed to meet manufacturer guarantees.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Frames:

Treated laminated redwood with solid rebates and horns unless otherwise specified.

Threshold:

Hardwood (Sapele), varies to suit requirements

Door:

Vertical grain, clear, Douglas Fir, 54mm thick. Cill height and projection varies according to requirements

Door Jamb:

110mm x 54mm

Panels (Flush and raised & fielded):

Birch faced plywood/ solid timber, 24mm

Clear low E softcoat, toughened 4mm-16mm-4mm

Hinges:

British made projection/ butt hinges with washers ( not cheap cast iron imports) for bi-folding sets

Locks:

Multipoint espagnolette locking mechanism with Stella or Scroll standard door hangles and euro-sylinder to suit. For sliding stacking door sets:Hafele Centor E3 folding door hardware system including hinges. Multi-point espagnolette mechanism and handle as before.

Sliding door locks and ironmongery:

Silver anodised aluminium finished lift and slide system with a multi-point lock.

Stacking door ironmongery:

Hafele Centor E3 folding door hardware system including hinges.
