Westbury’s experience of designing our timber conservatories along with requests by clients to produce purpose made doors with suitable architraves and skirtings has given us the opportunity to create a range of sturdy period wooden doors that are beautifully-made and are architecturally correct in every detail.
Hardwood internal doors can be hung and ironmongery fitted. We therefore calculate the locks that are required and supply drawings of where to fit them.
We offer a great range of Turnstyle designer ironmonery, please ask for details. Our doors are individually proportioned to suit your dimensions; these can be trimmed to exact sizes if required.
Constructed in 44mm thick timber with 95mm
stiles and 195mm bottom/mid rails and 95mm muntins which give a
feeling of closing a substantial wooden door that’s secure. Double
mortise and tenon to joint doors.
We use MDF for flush panels and raised and fielded (timber if
stained). All standard liners are 32mm thick and various widths,
complete with doorstops.
Doors and frame have 2 coats of paint prior to delivery (further
site coats are required). Single glazed toughened 4mm glass. All
doors where applicable are supplied with safety glass.
We show a range but are happy to quote from your drawings so
whether they are for refurbishment or new build the difference can
be seen and felt.
We have a standard range of doors but will make to order. Standard door sizes including lining sizes are as follows:
